MARIO TSAI STUDIO was founded in 2014 by Mario Tsai as a research-oriented design studio whose core function is to explore the potential attributes of materials and new production methods while adhering to sustainable design principles.

In 2017, nominated by Stockholm Furniture& Lighting Fair as “Rising Star”. In 2019, nominated by M& O Paris as one of China's “Rising Talent”, and held his first solo exhibition Milan Design Week in the same year. He has provided design and branding services to brands and customers from China, Italy, Denmark and Norway. Now he becomes one of the most high-profile young designer in China.

MARIO TSAI STUDIO adheres to the design principles of restraint in the design process, and achieves a soft minimalist state with less materials and processes. This is the sustainable design method Mario Tsai has been insisting on. The sudio provides creative solutions for customers from various fields not limited to product design, but also include art installation design and consulting services such as strategy and art direction.
